Utah Snowmobile Adventures
|
Frequently asked questions.
|
|
 |
 |
| 1) How old does one have to be to snowmobile? |

In Utah, one must be 16 years old to drive a
snowmobile.
We recommend age 5 or older to be a passenger.
|
|
 |
 |
| 2) Do you allow double riders on the 1/2 day trip? |

The 1/2 day trip is a bit more adventurous than
the 2hr trip and is typically for single riders
only.
There is more "off trail" riding in deeper snow,
farther into the backcountry. Riding double in
deep powder is tricky and not recommended.
4 hours on the back of a snowmobile is more than
most people bargain for. This is mountain riding,
not a snow covered road offered by other outfits.

 |
| 3) What is the difference between the 2hr trip and the 1/2 day trip? |

Either trip is suitable for beginner to advanced
riders.
The 2hr trip is spectacular. Wide open valleys to
play in, 9,000ft views, groomed trails. It covers
twice the terrain as our competitors. It is also
our most popular!
The 1/2 day trip is a 4hr lunch trip. It is more
adventurous with more off trail riding, the
highest elevations in Utah (11,000ft), and deeper
powder riding. It includes a hearty lunch at a log
cabin on the mountainside. Once up in the bowls
you can choose to explore rolling hills or more
aggressive terrain. Single riders.

 |
| 4) Do you offer unguided rentals? |

60,000 acres is more private terrain than all
companies and ski resorts combined! Vast and
spectacular mountains.
With an unguided rental, It is too easy to get
lost, get seriously stuck and too easy to waste
your day trying to find good places to ride.
Remember, in just a few minutes, a snowmobile
covers more terrain that it would take hours to
walk back out.
Our guides keep you safe, get you unstuck, get you
to the "best" places and make sure you have a good
time. By far, the best way to enjoy your time in
the Rockies.
For the expert riders, there are rental places in
Salt Lake and Heber that will rent you snowmobiles
and a trailer. You can then take the machines to
public lands to ride.
